TF2 Connexion was created on August 27th 2010. 
== Format ==
TF2 Connexion is currently on its overall tenth 6v6 season and the third that is using the title of ''Championnat'' (Championship).

The 3rd ''Championnat'' is split up into different tiers of skill (Elite, Pro and Amateur) and is using a double-elimination tournament for the playoffs. 
The divisions usually have a size of 4-5 teams. TF2C playoff rules determine that the 2 highest-ranked teams in a division play against the two 2 lowest-ranked teams in next higher division. A season usually consists of 3-5 weeks of regular matches and 4 weeks of playoffs. 

The first seven seasons used a league format. All participants were divided into 5 divisions, each with its own system of promotions and relegations. Divisions had a size of 6 or 8 teams. The seasons lasted up to 5 to 7 weeks. 

Matches usually consist of two maps, each with a timelimit of 30 minutes. The following win conditions are used:
* On [[5CP]] maps, the map ends once the time limit runs out or one of the teams scores 5 more points than the opponent.
* [[King of the Hill]] maps are played in a best of 5 format (first to 3 wins) without a time limit.

TF2 Connexion uses [[ETF2L]] settings and whitelists.
