TF2 Connexion is currently on its tenth 6v6 season, its third as ''Championnat'' (Championship) format.

The ''Championnat'' format consist of different skill levels, split up into tiers of divisions (Elite, Pro and Amateur). Divisions usually have a size of 4-5 teams. A season usually consists of 3-5 weeks of regular matches, and 4 weeks of playoffs.

The first seven seasons used a league format. All participants were divided into 5 divisions, each with its own system of promotions and relegations. Divisions had a size of 6 or 8 teams. The seasons lasted up to 5 to 7 weeks.
