So at the moment the default setting for [[Template:Flag]] will show this image, which is just a transparent 46x30px (condensed by the template to 23x15px) image. However, the old flag image ([[Placeholderflag.png]]) is an actual flag, and I created [[Unknown.png]] to replace this.
